Old School Gaming

I'm an old school gamer at heart. I still love the classic NES, SNES and N64 games. Mario Kart may be my favorite game ever (not the lesser quality one for the Gamecube). Most kids these days don't think much of these games because they are all so spoiled on HD graphics and CG Movies during games. I think it's a shame to miss out on good ole gaming like Mario Kart 64, Super Mario NES w/ Duck Hunt, Kirby, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Donkey Kong 64, Super Smash 64, Star Fox, Zelda (NES & N64), 007 Goldeneye, Banjo-Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, 1080, Pokemon Stadium, Mario Party series, etc. A few of these games do have more modern updates but they never seem to compare to the classics. I know for sure that when it comes time we WILL teach our kids about these "relics" just like whatever they have at the time. These games help remind me of good times. A group of kids hanging out just playing an innocent game that didn't involve blood, guts, gore, cussing, or anything that flies off shelves these days. I understand (and indulge) in modern and sometimes violent games but I still can't beat the fun I have blowing on the cartridge, popping it in the system and playing away the afternoon! 'Cmon, you remember having to blow on cartridges to make 'em work right?! Sure beats getting a few tiny scratches and having to replace a game just because the system won't read a "scratched" disc.
